What is the AIA?
The Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) is dedicated to the protection of the world's cultural heritage through the encouragement and support of archaeological research and publication. A non-profit cultural and education organization chartered by the U.S. Congress, the AIA is the oldest and largest archaeological organization in North America, with more than 10,000 members around the world.
